We pride ourselves on providing our patients with personalised, high quality, holistic care. Our doctors build a full picture of every patient’s health, taking into account the whole of the person. We assist every patient on their journey working towards, and maintaining, good health (and only ever resort to ‘Band-Aid solutions’ when a patient presents with a minor graze).
Preserving confidentiality is both a matter of routine and a core value of our practice. New patients can expect to build trust and rapport with our doctors, who have your best interests at heart. All information provided in the context of a consultation will remain strictly between the doctor and the patient – we take your privacy seriously.
For a standard appointment, including phone consultations, we charge a gap fee of $40. We charge a gap fee because quality of service is paramount to us – we do not follow the business model of turning patients out as quickly as possible, but instead prioritise time and quality of care for each individual patient. For more information on our ethos and values, please see our ‘ethos page’.
We do bulk-bill where appropriate. If a patient only requires a quick appointment – for example, simply following up on test results – we are mindful that little time has been spent in the appointment and will bulk-bill.
We will bulk-bill people under sixteen years of age on principle.
You can make an appointment online via our online booking system, HotDocs. You are also welcome to ring the Practice reception and make an appointment over the phone.
You can come in without an appointment, but please be mindful that it may take some time to see you. If you have presented with a medical emergency then you will of course be attended to as a priority.
There is no cancellation fee if you need to cancel your appointment. We understand that sometimes life gets in the way. We just ask that you provide us with as much notice as possible, so that the appointment can be offered to others.
Except for cancer and palliative care, our practice is now transitioning toward no longer prescribing medicines like opioid pain relief or sedating drugs:
In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, if you have cold and flu-like symptoms, we recommend that you make a telehealth appointment with us. This is necessary both for the safety of our patient base, and our staff.
A COVID-19 test is always recommended in the setting of any new-onset respiratory symptoms, and the practice does offer COVID-19 testing.
Testing is also available at the following locations:
Similarly, if you have been considered a close or casual contact of a person with COVID-19, we would also ask for you to book a telehealth appointment in lieu of an in-person appointment.
If you are unsure about whether or not you should book for an in-person appointment or a telehealth appointment, you are very welcome to ring the Practice reception and discuss your options with us.
We are not providing COVID-19 vaccinations at this time, but strongly recommend for our patients to be vaccinated! You can check your eligibility for a COVID-19 vaccination through the Government’s Vaccine Eligibility Checker, and if you are found to be eligible, the site will then allow you to book an appointment for a vaccine near you:
